Japan 9.0 Earthquake and Tsunami

On March 11th, 2011, I was in Otsuchi Japan when a 9.0 magnitude earthquake shook northern Japan. The earthquake was the most powerful in Japan’s history since record keeping began. Moments later, a tsunami struck with devastation to Japan’s northern coast.

Lightning from the Ground Up! Lightning from Radio Towers.

One of the most impressive lightning events you could hope to see is when lightning starts attacking antenna farms, or radio antennas. In this specific event, the storm was charging the tops of the antennas and the lightning was shooting off the antennas and towards the sky. It was incredible!
