Santa Enlist Help of StormChase.com Forecasters for Christmas Flight 2009

We just received a high priority phone call at the StormChase.com forecasting center from the North Pole.  It was Santa’s lead elf meteorologist, Dr. Bouncy Sugar Socks.  Poor little guy was freaking out!!  It seems that Santa is very worried about the Christmas Eve forecast for supercells and possible tornadoes over parts of Oklahoma and Texas, as well as the strong  turbulence over the United States due to a strong upper jet.

Santa During Teleconference with StormChase.com

After listening to Dr. Socks’ concerns, we understand that flight safety of Santa and the reindeer is a number one priority.  So, we didn’t even hesitate and offered our immediate assistance.  Our highly skilled team of convective forecasters will be nowcasting for Santa during his Christmas Eve flight and you can be sure that with the world’s best severe weather forecasters on his team, that we’ll get Santa where he needs to be and on-time as scheduled!

Santa personally wanted us to remind everyone to keep their NOAA Weather Radios on this Christmas Eve and be very careful out there!  We’ll be dealing with very slippery road conditions over much of the country and weather conditions will rapidly deteriorate in eastern Oklahoma and Texas as this storm system moves to the east.  So be careful and make this Christmas a great one for everyone!

Merry Christmas from all of us at StormChase.com and StormTours.com!
