Tornado watches are currently in effect from Louisiana to the east coast of Florida and tornado warnings are lighting up the map across the gulf states.

That’s a little too far away for me today, even if I was able to chase this event – but if you’re out there today let us know what you’re seeing – send me your photos and I might post them on the stormchase.com blog! But, please don’t do anything that will put your life at risk!!

These storms are fast and nasty convective systems with embedded supercells and “Dixie” can be a tough place to chase in due to all the trees – so stay safe.
